Dr. Labib Edison Riachi, a specialist in advanced pelvic surgery and female urinary incontinence, has established a private practice and has joined the Women's Care Physician's Group, LLC and the medical staff of Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth.
Riachi completed a fellowship training program in advanced pelvic surgery/urogynecology at Northside Hospital,Atlanta, Ga.At that hospital he worked with Dr. John Miklos, who was one of the first in the United States to perform the tension free transvaginal tape sling, an effective treatment of female stress urinary incontinence. Riachi will begin performing the minimally invasive TVT procedure at Trinitas Hospital this month. He had previous;y served his residency in gynecology and obstetrics at Trinitas Hospital and St. Michael's Medical Center in Newark as part of the Seton Hall University School Of Graduate Medical Education.
